Knowledge of cleaning motor bearings

1. The bearings mounted on the shaft are cleaned by spraying oil or spraying with oil guns. The oil stains that are easy to clean on graphite bronze bearings are kerosene and then gasoline; it is difficult to lubricate the bearings to clean the oil stains. Rinse with hot engine oil at 100-200 ℃ or spray with oil gun, and then wash with gasoline. Be careful not to scrape the bearing with sharp tools: hard grease or rust, so as not to damage the finish of the imported bearing rolling elements and groove ring parts, and clean the bearings with a clean cloth.

 

2. Normal cleaning method: Immerse the bearing in kerosene for 5-10 minutes, pinch the inner ring with one hand, and turn the outer ring with the other hand. The dry oil or rust-proof paste on the imported bearing will fall off. Then put the bearing into a cleaner kerosene, brush it with a soft brush, clean the balls and the oil in the gap, and then place the graphite-inlaid lubricated bearing in gasoline for cleaning once, and then place it on clean paper. When cleaning the radial spherical ball bearing and the short cylindrical roller bearing, the balls, bead frame, inner ring and outer ring should be separated and cleaned.

 

3. When cleaning the radial bearing of the old motor or imported motor, the ball, bead frame and inner ring should be turned out from the outer ring and then immersed in hot oil. The short cylindrical roller bearing should also be cleaned when cleaning. The roller, bead stand, inner ring and outer ring are disengaged.

 

During hot oil cleaning, the temperature of the oil should not exceed 20 ° C. When heating directly with an open flame, care should be taken to prevent the oil from burning. The bearing should be suspended in an oil pan. The sink bottom will cause overheating and reduce the hardness.

 

4. Hot oil cleaning method Due to long-term use, bearings that are hardened with soft dry oil or rust-proof paste should be immersed in hot engine oil at 100-200 ° C, clamp the bearings with pliers, and brush the oil stain on the imported bearings with a brush. . The soft dry oil or rust-proof paste is melted when heated to 100-200 ° C, and it is easy to wash out from the gap of the imported bearing. Sometimes it is only necessary to shake the bearing several times in the oil. Oil will also flow away from the gap.
