The oil-free bushing is very white, which is an improvement of the copper bushing. When designing, if the load is light, we will choose a copper bushing and an oil-free bushing.
Most oil-free bushings today are steel plates with spherical bronze powder sintered in the middle and sprayed with other substances on the surface, such as a mixture of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and lead. Features of small friction coefficient, good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and oil-free lubrication. Mostly used for sliding parts of various machines, such as printing presses, textile machines, and hydraulic presses for fitness machines. Some bushings are specially processed to withstand high-speed motion, but they cannot withstand heavy loads.
Oil-free bearings are generally designed to be used at a low load and a low speed of 1,000 rpm.
